Your own website, built by your AI agent.
For people who are not developers. Download this kit, open it in Claude or Codex, and ask “What do I do next?” Your agent walks you through everything, one step at a time: setting up, putting your site online, even buying your own domain name.
Three steps, then your agent takes over
-
Get Claude or Codex on your computer
Either one works. Both need a paid plan.
Claude
Install the Claude desktop app and sign in. Needs Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise.
Codex
Install the ChatGPT desktop app, which includes Codex, and sign in. Needs a ChatGPT plan that includes Codex.
-
Download the kit and unzip it
Use the button above. Then open the zip: on a Mac, double-click it; on Windows, right-click it and choose Extract All. Move the webdev-kit folder somewhere you will find it again, such as Documents. This folder is where your website will live.
-
Open the folder and ask what to do next
In Claude: click the Code tab, choose Local, then Select folder and pick webdev-kit.
In Codex: open the webdev-kit folder as your project. If the app asks whether you trust this folder, say yes: that lets your guide use the settings that come with the kit. Then type:
What do I do next?
What happens next
- It asks about the site you want: what it is for and who it is for. One question at a time.
- It gets your computer ready. You may see a window asking for permission to install something: it tells you what to click.
- It walks you through creating a free Cloudflare account (the company whose computers will serve your site) and connecting it with one click on Allow.
- It builds a first version, shows it to you, and puts it online. You get a link to open on your phone.
- When you are ready, it helps you choose and buy your own domain name, like yourname.com, and connects it.
- After that, open the folder whenever you want a change and say what you want in plain words.
It keeps track of where you got to in a file called PROGRESS.md, so you can stop at any point and pick up later. When it asks to run something on your computer, it explains why first.
What it costs
| Claude or ChatGPT plan | Your subscription, which you probably already have |
| Cloudflare | Free to start |
| Your own domain name | Roughly $10–15 a year for a .com, paid to Cloudflare at cost |
| Cloudflare Workers Paid | $5 a month, only if your site outgrows the free plan. Your agent will tell you if it does. |
For the curious: what is in the kit
Instructions your agent follows to guide you; written skills it reads when the work calls for them (how we build sites on Next.js and Cloudflare, how to test them, our design rules); a small setup tool it runs for you; and a sites folder where your website lives. During setup it also fetches official skills from Cloudflare, Vercel, Anthropic and shadcn/ui, straight from their publishers.
New versions appear on this page. Your agent checks for them and offers to update the kit for you. Your site and your progress are kept.
